Michael Le Couteur has an extremely wide range of professional experience, in a career which has spanned agriculture, the financial markets, university administration, trucking, retailing and teaching. Then into fundraising Advisory / Consultancy and more recently the Fundraising Mentoring field and alumni relations.
Michael commenced work in the broader fundraising profession following 8 years in Advancement /Development in the Educational sector – as Executive Director of the Foundation and Director of Development at Knox Grammar School & The Scots College in Sydney.
Michael was actively involved with the Fundraising Institute between 1987 & 2008. He was a regular presenter at conferences (also attending conferences and presenting in USA), state training days and skills courses – he was Training Co-ordinator for NSW; Editor of the Institute’s quarterly Magazine Fundraising Australia and a Tutor for the Diploma of Fundraising Management (DipFM). Awarded Fellowship in Fundraising Institute in 2004 (FFIA).
